A $99 reservation fee is required to secure your place in the rental fleet. This fee functions as a refundable security deposit. The reservation fee is refunded when your rental ends, pending inspection of the unit upon return. If the chair is returned in acceptable condition — normal wear and tear is expected — the full $99 is returned. If damage beyond normal wear is found, the reservation fee may be withheld in whole or in part to offset repair or replacement costs. No payment is collected on the reservation form. You will receive a secure payment link within 24 hours of submitting your reservation.
A one-time $99 refurbishment fee is collected at the start of your rental. This fee is non-refundable. The refurbishment fee covers professional cleaning, sanitization, and preparation of the chair before delivery to you. It also covers the reconditioning process when the chair is returned. This ensures every renter receives a thoroughly cleaned and certified unit.
Monthly charges of $199 begin on the date your chair is delivered — not on the date you reserve. You will not be charged until delivery. A 3-month minimum rental period applies. After the initial 3 months, your rental continues month-to-month at $199/month until you cancel with proper notice.
A 3-month minimum rental commitment is required for all renters. The 3-month minimum ensures operational sustainability — at 3 months, the combined non-refundable fees ($597 rental + $99 refurbishment, with customer-paid outbound shipping) cover the cost of the unit and associated logistics. After the minimum period is complete, your rental is fully month-to-month with no further commitment.
To cancel your rental and initiate a return, follow these steps: 1. Notify Boddie Balance during your last 30-day intended rental period. Contact us at [email protected] to request your return shipment label. 2. A pickup will be scheduled by a third-party shipping company at the location previously designated in your rental agreement. 3. Ensure the chair is properly packaged and accessible at the designated pickup location on the scheduled date. Important: Failure to provide 30 days' notice will result in an additional month's rental charge of $199. Do not contact us after the period has passed and expect the same month to be your last. Return labels will eventually be included in the original packaging. Until that program launches, return labels are issued on request through [email protected].
Outbound Shipping (Chair to You) Customer is responsible for outbound shipping costs. Shipping charges will be calculated and communicated before your rental agreement is finalized. Return Shipping For rentals of 6 months or longer: Boddie Balance covers the full cost of return pickup and shipping. We provide the label and schedule the pickup — no additional cost to you. For rentals under 6 months: A return shipping fee applies. The exact amount will be confirmed at the time you request your return label. This fee reflects third-party carrier costs and is not a penalty. All returns must be scheduled through Boddie Balance to ensure proper handling and insurance coverage. Do not ship the chair independently.
Active renters may exercise the buyout option at any time. Buyout pricing is available upon request and your rental history will be considered in the pricing discussion. To initiate a buyout, contact [email protected] with your rental account details.
The chair will be delivered in certified, professionally cleaned condition. Normal wear and tear is expected and does not affect your refundable reservation fee. Damage beyond normal wear — including structural damage, broken components, missing accessories, or contamination requiring extraordinary cleaning — may result in partial or full withholding of the $99 reservation fee. In cases of severe damage, additional charges may apply. You are responsible for the chair while it is in your possession. Please store it in a dry, protected location and follow all care instructions provided with your rental agreement.
Corporate lactation suite rentals (6–10+ units) are subject to a separate Corporate Rental Agreement. Fleet pricing, multi-unit discounts, and dedicated account management are available. Contact [email protected] or use the enterprise option in the reservation form to discuss fleet pricing, delivery logistics, and multi-year agreements.
This Rental Policy is an addendum to the full Boddie Balance™ Terms and Conditions available at BoddieBalance.com/terms. In the event of a conflict between this Rental Policy and the general Terms and Conditions, this Rental Policy governs for rental transactions.
Boddie Balance reserves the right to update this Rental Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated to active renters via email with reasonable notice. Continued rental after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. This policy is current as of July 2026.
