Restful Pump® Has a
New Name.
The same mission. The same founder. The same patented technology. A name that reflects where we were always going.

Positioning Systems
The Product Was Always Bigger Than One Use Case.
Restful Pump® was born from one specific problem — a physical therapist and new mother who couldn't find a comfortable, ergonomically sound way to pump. She built it herself. The forward-leaning, gravity-assisted positioning system she created became the world's first of its kind.
But from the very first trade show, something unexpected happened: dads wanted to try it. Office workers sat in it and didn't want to get up. Healthcare professionals saw clinical applications. Gamers recognized the posture benefits immediately.
The chair wasn't just for pumping. It was for every body that sits.
Boddie Balance™ Positioning Systems is the name that reflects the full scope of that mission — now with over 16 ergonomic solutions to improve focus, rest, and productivity. The lactation system is still central to everything we do. It's joined by a growing platform built for every body.
Everything That Mattered Stays Exactly the Same.
Same Founder
Micolene Boddie, PT, AT, CSCS — CEO and Founder, still at the helm.
Same Patents
30+ patents.
Same Research
Preliminary single-subject case study showed increased flow rate with the chair vs. without, using the same pump. Second IRB study underway.
Same Lactation Focus
The Boddie Balance Lactation System is still at the heart of what we build.
Same Track Record
CNBC, Discovery Life Channel, Empowered hosted by Meg Ryan, ABC Kids Expo, Women's Health Innovation Summit, Prego Expo.
Same Mission
No mother should stop pumping because her body gave out before her will did.
“The name changed. The work didn't. Every product we build — now and in the future — comes back to the same principle: design for how the human body actually functions, not for how furniture has always been made.”
